FulizaLimit ("we", "us", "our") provides guidance to help M-Pesa users in Kenya understand and grow their Fuliza limit. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are an independent guidance service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Safaricom PLC.

By creating an account or using our website, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

We collect the following categories of information when you use FulizaLimit:

  • M-Pesa number — the phone number you link for eligibility verification.
  • Eligibility inputs — answers you provide about your M-Pesa activity, repayment history, and account age.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and device or browser information collected automatically.
  • Communications — messages you send us through the contact form, email, or WhatsApp.

We do not ask for your M-Pesa PIN, and you should never share it with us or anyone claiming to represent FulizaLimit.

03How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Generate your Fuliza eligibility score and limit increase report.
  • Operate and maintain your account and dashboard.
  • Send you updates about your eligibility check, subscription, or support requests.
  • Improve the accuracy of our guidance and the usability of our service.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your M-Pesa data for anything beyond generating your own eligibility report.

04How We Share Information

We may share limited information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers — trusted vendors who host our infrastructure or process payments, bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal requirements — if required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or lawful government request.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply.

We do not share your M-Pesa number or eligibility data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

05Data Retention

We retain your account and eligibility data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory reasons.

06Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

07Your Rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Withdraw consent for optional communications at any time.
